Ready for your vintage island escape? Join us at the Velvet Lounge every Wednesday night as we journey through the enchanting traditions of tropical, tiki, and Polynesian cocktails.​

 

The traditions of the mid-centruy tiki bar and Bryant's have always shared a similar trajectory and draw from a similar knowledge of drink making and escapism.  Some of our most famous drinks, like the Navy Grog, were interpretations of famous tiki drinks by Donn Beach and Trader Vic.  Years ago when we were cleaning the basement, we found three important documents stashed in the floor joists: the recipe to our famous Holiday Punch, and two tattered tiki menus saved from a research trip to Florida in the 1960s.

Our dream has always been to highlight and celebrate the tiki tradition in both its classic and modern forms. So, we’re dedicating Wednesday nights in the Velvet Lounge to this cause. Expect delicious cocktails, vintage exotica music, and a few special surprises along the way.
